I paint, therefore I amála Descartes

No one in my family has ever painted. On my father’s side, an engineer, everyone was always very technical, finance, math and science oriented, including the women - my grandmother was one of  the first three women in Hungary to get a degree in chemical engineering in 1932.  I inherited  from them the genes which have made me pragmatic, precise, goal-oriented and meticulous.  On my mother’s side, there were a lot more right-brained people.  A journalist, a poet, an architect, an archaeologist, and even a concert pianist thus creating a family tree with a diverse direction of endless opportunities. Their genes have enriched my life with vivacity, idealism, individualism, a bit of impulsiveness and always thinking outside the box.  With a brush in my hand,  there are no corporate guidelines, just self expression without written or spoken words; a substance of imaginative vision and spiritual intuition.
